The Sintered Stainless Steel Fritted Filter is an excellent choice for keeping particulate out of your probes and Heated Sample Lines. These 20 or 10 micron frits are cleanable and feature durable long lasting 316 stainless steel construction with either a 1/4" NPT or 3/8" tube connection. Used as a Sparger or Diffuser you can introduce gases into liquids through thousands of tiny pores, creating bubbles far smaller and more numerous than with drilled pipe or other sparging methods.
The Stainless Steel Sintered Filter can also be used as a Sparger or Diffuser. These Stainless Steel Diffusers are often used for porous gas injecting. They have a 20 or 10 micron pore size allowing small bubbles to flow through it. They can be used for gas transfer aeration, generating high volumes of fine, uniform bubbles often used for the treatment of wastewater, volatile air stripping and steam injection. With greater gas/liquid contact area, the time and volume required to dissolve gas into liquid is reduced. This is accomplished by reducing the bubble size, which creates many tiny, slow moving bubbles that result in a large increase in absorption.
